That’s Mallika Sherawat for you, ladies and gentlemen (remember her last accent-bhara ‘India is sooo conservative’ Cannes interview?), the lady who jumps, or let’s say in this case, sings right into any publicity gimmick that she can. Guess what the esteemed Cannes ‘invitee’ has been doing between zipping around Rajasthan shooting for the KC Bokadia’s ‘Dirty Politics’ (well…), shooting for a reality show, and going ‘baaack home’? Singing Happy Birthday, recording it, and posting it online. And mind you, it’s a special dedication to none other than Narendra Modi. So, she starts by announcing she’s going to sing for her ‘perfect bachelor’, and starts a very out of tune ‘Happy Biiiirthday Narenderji…’ (she ends with ‘er’ — her native tongue style) and that’s when she realizes nothing in her angrezi vocabulary rhymes with ‘Narenderji’, so in the next line, she continues with the ‘jiiii’ till her voice peters out.Well,she’s proved one thing: Priyanka and Exotic she definitely is not.
