BALDWIN, N.Y. (TIP): Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Baldwin Historical Society on Saturday, June 18 to celebrate the return of the iconic Nunley’s Golf Ball sign to Baldwin. Following a yearlong restoration project spearheaded by the Historical Society, the refurbished artifact was installed on the grounds of the Baldwin Historical Museum with assistance from the Baldwin Fire Department and Sanitary District No. 2. “So many Nassau families made memories at Nunley’s that will last for a lifetime,” Legislator Mulé said. “Thank you to Baldwin Historical Society President Gary Farkash and Vice President Karen Montalbano for spearheading a project that preserves a link to our past and puts a smile on so many faces in the present day!”
