NEW YORK CITY (TIP): Teamwork Arts, producer of the annual Jaipur Literature Festival and the international extensions of JLF, returns to the USA with live in-person programs, offering prominent speakers, authors and writers with the aim of embracing literature, arts and culture. Scheduled to take place from September 9th-18th, the three festivals are: JLF Houston on September 9th & 10th at the Asia Society Texas Center; JLF New York on September 13th & 14th at the Asia Society New York and JLF Colorado on September 17th & 18th at the Boulder Public Library. This year Teamwork Arts has partnered with Asia Society Texas Center and Inprint for its 5th edition of JLF Houston; Boulder Public Library for its 8th edition of JLF Colorado and Asia Society, New York for its 6th edition of JLF New York. JLF Colorado will celebrate the beauty of the Rockies and the Prairies and the unique vitality of Boulder, JLF Houston will highlight the distinctive culture of the Bayou City, and JLF New York will express the cosmopolitan energy and dynamism of New York City. The festivals will also celebrate the heady freedom of the virtual world with a community of more than 22 million people across the world. Maintaining the diversity of the specially curated program the festivals will offer topics such as Politics and Current Affairs, Poetry, Fiction, The Urgency of Borrowed Time (Climate Change), Latinx Poetry, Bollywood, Identity, Diaspora Writing, Medicine and Technology, African American Voices, Latinx American Voices, Indigenous Voices, Migration and Identity, Gun Laws, LGBTQ, among others.
