Caitlin moved to the United States 14 years ago and is currently pursuing her studies at the University of California, Davis. Alongside her academic endeavors, Caitlin is passionate about web design and aspires to build a career in both modeling and acting. She has expressed a commitment to community service, particularly in promoting women’s empowerment and literacy.
The first runner-up title was awarded to Nirali Desai from Illinois, while Manini Patel from New Jersey secured the second runner-up position. The competition showed a diverse group of contestants, each bringing their unique talents and stories to the stage.
Caitlin’s win highlights her dedication and multifaceted talents, marking a significant milestone in her journey. “I am honored and thrilled to have this opportunity to represent Indian American women and make a difference in the community,” she said during her acceptance speech.
In a related event, Dhruvi Patel, a student specializing in computer information systems, was crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024. The Miss India USA pageant serves as a precursor to the global Miss India Worldwide competition, celebrating Indian heritage and excellence on an international stage.
The India Festival Committee, which has organized the pageant annually since 1980, aims to provide a platform for young women of Indian descent to showcase their talents, foster cultural pride, and pursue their dreams.
