India Visa Camp at Gurdwara Baba Makhan Shah Lobana Sikh Center on May 31

With a view to reaching out to community in Richmond Hill and surrounding neighborhoods in Queens, a special Visa Camp is being organized by Cox & Kings, the outsourcing agents of the Consulate General of India at Gurdwara Baba Makhan Shah Lobana Sikh Center, 113-10 101st Ave, Richmond Hill, NY 11419 on May 31 , from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

The Indian Panorama has facilitated the organization of the camp.

We advise the applicants to make an appointment online before coming to the camp. It will help them save time.

Q1.
What is a Visa Camp?
Visa Camp is an extension of our New York visa application centre to assist applicants in applying for their Indian Visa / OCI / Renunciation application. This initiative has been organized by joint efforts of Consulate General of India – New York and Cox & Kings Global Services.

Q.2.
How can I submit my application at the Visa camp?
In person & by appointment only. There are limited appointments per location available for each day that the visa camp is operational.

Applicants are requested to ensure that their application & fees are complete as per the checklist and fee schedule.

Q.3.
If I am unable to come in person to submit my application, can I send a representative / family member?
Yes, as long as he / she is not a travel agent.

Q.4.
Can I collect my passport from the India visa camp?
No. India Visa camps are organized to assist applicants in the submission process. We do not store passports here.

For applications submitted to the India visa camp, the mode of return of passport after visa processing is by courier only.

Q.5.
What are the extra costs for submitting applications at the Visa camp?
Submitting your Visa / OCI application in person at the Visa Camp costs the same as submitting your Visa / OCI application by post.

Q.6.
What is the best way to submit my application for the fastest turnaround time?
Turnaround times are more or less the same if you submit your application at our application centre in person, through post, through a travel agency or through CKGS India visa camp. Applications are sent from the camp to our New York centre, processed in our system and sent to the Consulate in the order in which they were received.

Q.7.
What if I need Emergency Visa?
Emergency Visa are issued directly by the NY Consulate for urgent travel India due to death in family, medical grounds, legal matters. India Visa Camp will NOT accept any emergency visa applications. Applicants must go to the NY Consulate DIRECTLY if they wish to get an Emergency Visa.
