World Vegan Vision Celebrates Thanksgiving at the Capitol

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi recognizes contribution of H.K. Shah & Malti Shah

WASHINGTON(TIP): World Vegan Vision- formerly Vegetarian Vision Inc., a non-profit  Organization established in 1992, celebrated Vegan Thanksgiving event at  Capitol in Cannon Office Complex, in  Washington DC,  November 13th.

World Vegan Vision promotes healthy living by eating Vegan/ Vegetarian foods,  Save the animal from cruelty and killing and save the environment and planet Earth from Climate changes.

The mission of World Vegan Vision is to help people live healthy life by eating Plant based foods. During the last 25 years Vegetarian Vision had organized many noteworthy events, Food shows, Speakers seminars on health awareness programs, published health newsletters, Essay Competitions, Vegan Cooking demonstrations, and turkey free Thanksgiving Dinners.

The Thanksgiving celebration started at Cannon House, with Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi addressing the gathering.  He spoke about his early life and success in America and the progress he made up to US Congress.  He spoke about the healthcare and the benefits of Vegan/Vegetarian food. Also,  he encouraged the promoters of Vegan Vision for the Vegan movement in America.

Vegan-physician Dr. Moiz spoke on health and prevention of diseases with  Vegan food, Alex Hershaft from Farm USA  pleaded for saving farm animals.  Freya Dinshaw form American Vegan Society talked on history of Vegans in USA and, importance of saving lives of animals.  Erica Meier from Compassion Over Killing spoke on emotions and animal protection.

Mr. Hakki, First Secretary from Indian Ambassador’s office spoke on more benefits of Vegetarian foods and need to promote Vegetarian food in USA.  Jahnvi, a well-known Vegan Cook Books writer also spoke and advocated the health benefits of Vegan and plant-based foods and offered books of Vegan recipe.

World Vegan Vision, founded by H.K.Shah & Malti Shah, in 1992, has more than 1500 life members, many patrons, donors, and family members in New York and New Jersey Chapters.

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi  awarded a plaque of Appreciation for their lifetime service to H.K. Shah & Malti Shah on behalf of Board Members. Directors Vinod Shah & Nitin Vyas organized this event, and Vice Chairman Chandra Mehta, President Bina Sabapathy, and all members attended this first of its kind prestigious Vegan Thanks giving celebration in the   US Congress Complex.  Devashree Parikh was the MC,  conducting this prestigious event. Kamal Panchal-president designate represented the   shortly to be opened  Ohio chapter.

Delicious variety of fresh hot Vegan food was catered under supervision of Mrs. Shalini Sood. (Winner of Mrs. United Nations 2017).
