The trailer of Taapsee Pannu’s much-awaited film, Dobaaraa, was released today [July 27]. The film marks the reunion of Taapsee and director Anurag Kashyap after their 2018 hit film Manmarziyaan. By the looks of the trailer, Taapsee Pannu-starrer promises an engaging murder mystery. The trailer of Dobaaraa generates curiosity amongst the audience to know what unfolds next. The story of Dobaaraa revolves around how a woman gets an opportunity to save the life of a 12-year-old boy who witnessed death during a thunderstorm that happened 26 years ago. The film’s trailer sheds light on the same. Director Anurag Kashyap shared the official trailer of Dobaaraa on his Instagram handle. While sharing the trailer, Anurag wrote, “The portals have opened up. The mystery has been revealed. Antara is determined to make sense of it all, are you? Watch Dobaaraa in cinemas on Aug 19. (sic).” Much before Dobaaraa’s theatrical release, the film will premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on August 12, 2022. Expressing happiness over the same, Anurag said in a statement, “Excited to be showcasing our film and being elected as the opening night film for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. I have previously been to IFFM and have first hand seen the unison with which Indian films and film from the subcontinent are celebrated and showcased with much vigour. Dobaaraa is a special film for me as a filmmaker and I’m looking forward to showcasing it at this platform.”
