Actor Govinda has reacted to the rumours of his divorce with Sunita Ahuja. Several media reports have been suggesting that the couple is headed for a divorce after 37 years of marriage. In an interview with Times of India, the 61-year-old chose not to answer a question about divorce and shifted the focus of the conversation to his upcoming films.
When asked about the divorce reports, he said, “There are only business talks going… I am in the process of starting my films.”
The report further mentioned that Ahuja had given a ‘separation notice’ to Govinda a few months ago, but there has been no new development since then.
It also quoted the actor’s manager, Shashi Sinha, confirming that the couple is struggling with a few issues due to “certain statements” made in the media earlier.
“There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members of the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in the process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it,” he said.
