Taapsee Pannu plays the lead role in Srijit Mukherji’s Shabaash Mithu, which is based on the life of former Indian women’s cricket team captain, Mithali Raj. The sports film that depicts the challenges that Mithali faced and overcame to achieve her dream. Taapsee not only learnt to play cricket but also turned to other ways to find motivation on set. Talking about drawing inspiration from the famous 70-minute-long scene from Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De! India, Taapsee recalled the first time she saw the scene. She said, “I was ready to run through a brick wall when I heard that speech for the first time. That is an iconic moment and it is a classic. So, I think I keep going back to the film whenever I need encouragement or inspiration. For this film, especially Shabaash Mithu, there were so many times I used to tell my colleagues – the girls who were acting with me – ‘I think we should watch Chak De before we start filming our climax to get into that zone.’ That really helps.”

‘I hope I’m invited’: Athiya  reacts on wedding rumours with cricketer KL Rahul

Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty has finally broken her silence on the rumour about her wedding with cricketer KL Rahul.Athiya, the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, responded for the first time to rumours that the couple is getting married in the next few months.

On Wednesday, July 13, she took to her Instagram stories and wrote: “I hope I’m invited to this wedding that’s taking place in 3 months lol.”

Athiya and Rahul made their relationship official last year.

The cricketer wished the actor on her birthday with a social media post featuring the two. However, the two have never spoken about their wedding publicly.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been dating each other for over three years.  Often spotted together, their wedding rumours have been a doing the rounds for a while now. The latest about this young couple is that they are ready to take their relationship to the next level. Yes, there are reports that Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya and cricketer KL Rahul are now going to tie the knot in the next three months. In a report by India Today, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are all set to marry in the next three months and grand preparations for the same are currently underway. It says the two families met recently and visited the house where Athiya and Rahul will staying after marriage. “Rahul’s parents were recently in Mumbai to meet Athiya’s family. The couple, along with their families, visited the new house where they will be moving in soon, to see the progress. The wedding is expected to take place in the next three months in Mumbai. It will be a grand celebration for both the families and every detail of the wedding is been overseen by the bride herself,” a source told the news portal claimed.
