Diwali in US gains official holiday status in Pennsylvania, Texas, New York

A precursor to the recognition of Diwali as a holiday is the Diwali Stamp which the community, under the leadership of Ranju Batra, Chairperson, Diwali Foundation USA, got issued by the USPS in October, 2016.
