Written and directed by Prakash Jha, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, Jai Gangaajal, is an upcoming Bollywood action drama film, which is being directed and produced by Prakash Jha.

It is the sequel of 2003 hit movie ‘Gangaajal’, which is a real-life inspired story and will explore the relationship between society and police.

The movie features Priyanka Chopra and Rahul Bhat in lead roles.

Story/Plot

Jai Gangaajal is about a female cop, who takes on some powerful and influential men in her district. Jha has started working on the film. It is about today’s dictum of society-police relationship. ‘Gangaajal’ was more from the heart. This one has all the bizarre things happening around us in reality. The film is not made on a big scale and also has very less characters. It is a concentrated story. In the second installment, Priyanka Chopra will fill her Blackmail co-star’s shoes, as she takes on more corruption in the hinterlands.
