NEW DELHI (TIP): BJP stalwart and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi after his health deteriorated. The senior saffron party leader was shifted to emergency at Apollo Hospital situated at Mathura Road. This comes days after the 96-year-old Advani was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a night-long stay there. An Apollo spokesperson said Advani was admitted to the neurology department and his condition was stable. Advani was under the care of senior consultant (neurology) Dr Vinit Suri, he said. The details of his ailment were not known immediately.
