Toothpaste
For the first hack, all you need is a toothpaste and an old toothbrush. Just apply drops of toothpaste on your nails, wet your brush, and gently scrub your nails. Make sure you scrub just the nails, as the bristles of the brush might harm the skin. The presence of ethyl acetate in the paste will remove your nail paint in no time. This chemical is also present in nail paint removers.
Vinegar And Lemon
Vinegar can also help in removing the nail paint if you are running out of remover. To begin with, soak your hands in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Now take two tablespoons of vinegar and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir it and soak a cotton ball in it. Now use this cotton ball to remove the paint. You might need to press the cotton ball on your nails, as it might take a little longer for the vinegar to remove the paint. You can also try rubbing a lemon slice on your nails if you have bits of chipped nail paint.
Hand Sanitiser
One thing which must be available in abundance in every household nowadays must be hand sanitiser. We have all been using it to keep our hands clean, so why not use it to remove nail paint? Hand sanitiser contains rubbing alcohol, which will help in removing the paint off your nails. Just drop some sanitiser on your nails and quickly use a cotton ball to rub it. You might need to repeat this process 3-4 times. Make sure you wash your hands and apply a hand cream after you are done, in order to prevent your hands from drying.
Hairspray
Hairspray too contains rubbing alcohol, which can help in getting rid of chipped nail paint. Just spray some of it on your nails and use a cotton swab to wipe it off. You need to be quick with it, as the cotton might stick to your nails and create a mess.
