Death of six-month-old clouds demolition drive by Railways | Father Changes stand

A six-month-old infant had reportedly died in West Delhi’s Shakur Basti, where a demolition drive was carried out by railway authorities, December 12, where close to 500 shanties were razed to the ground.

The infant’s father has now said that he knew about the drive a day earlier, so the family had packed their bags and left them on the bed. The bags rolled off the bed and fell on the sleeping child.

The statement from the father could be a result of cohesion, as earlier he accused the railway department for the death of his daughter.

Investigations are underway in this developing story.
