Jodhpur/Ahmedabad (TIP): There is no end to troubles for self-styled godman Asaram and his son Narayan Sai. A former Asaram aide Ajay Kumar has now deposed before a Jodhpur judge and has brought out more shocking details against the ‘godman’. He has told the court that when he was working at Asaram’s ashram in 1995, girls used to be brought routinely to the ashram and sent to Asaram’s quarters. He also told court that two workers died under suspicious circumstances after they fell out with Asaram. The revelation came even as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi summoned the state DGP on Wednesday asking him for an update on the investigation into the second case of sexual assault. The Gujarat Police is looking to get the custody of Asaram who is facing trial in Rajasthan. If the custody is granted, Asaram will then be brought to Gujarat where he will be questioned. Two sisters filed a sexual assault against him and his son Narayan Sai in Gujarat. The lawyers of Narayan Sai have released an advertisement in local newspapers in Gujarat claiming that their client is not absconding. In the ad they have claimed that Narayan Sai is innocent and that the case lodged against him is false. The ad published in Gujarati claims that Narayan Sai will seek legal recourse.
