FLUSHING, NY (TIP): The Hindu Temple Society of North America will be celebrating its 5th Re-consecration (Kumbhabhishekam) of all the Devatas enshrined in the Temple, including the Gopuras, from August 31st thru September 7th, 2022. In addition, our annual festival for Sri Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations will begin on August 29th and conclude on September 11th with the Grand Ratha Yatra, starting in front of the Temple at 12:30 PM. This is the conclusion part of the biggest festival of our Temple. Thousands of joyful devotees accompany the procession and exhibit their exuberance by singing, chanting and dancing to the tunes of drums and shehnai. Come in large numbers and enjoy the bliss and joy of the festival.
