MAYWOOD, NJ (TIP):  World Vegan Vision and the Consulate General of India, New York celebrated Languages of India and Gandhi Birth Anniversary on October 1, 2021 at My Home Adult Day care center in Maywood, NJ. More than 160+ people joined the celebration.

Cultural Consul Mr. Vipul Dev represented the consulate of India and Mr. H.K. Shah and Mrs. Malti Shah, founders of world vegan vision, Padmashree Dr. Sudhir Parikh, Dr. Sudha Parikh and several community leaders including Dr. Mukund Thacker were also present.  Mr. Pradip Kabaria graciously made available the venue for this event at his adult day care center.

Dr. Shrenik Shah, president of world vegan vision NJ spoke about Mahatma Gandhi and his influence in leading a healthy lifestyle with a vegan diet.

Many other talented speakers highlighted the life of Mahatma Gandhi in Gujrati, Hindi and English. The sponsors and donors of this program Mr. Kenny Desai, Dr. Mukund Thacker and Mr. Nimish Patel were honored by the Consul Culture and presented with recognition plaques for their support and donation.  The support from Indo American Seniors Association of Jersey City was also recognized.

Everyone enjoyed a vegan dinner and were entertained by live singers. The event was planned and coordinated by World Vegan Vision Public Relations Mr. Nitin Vyas and Senior Executive Mr. Vinod Shah.
