Grate 200 g raw papaya in a pan. Add ¼ th cup sugar to it and mix well. Cook this mixture over low heat on the stove and stir continuously. Once the sugar is dissolved raise the heat and cook for 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and ¼ tsp garam masala powder and cook for another minute. Serve with rice/ rotis or any bread.
