EDISON, NJ (TIP): Ekal Vidyalaya has always brought the best in Bollywood entertainment for its annual fund-raising Concerts, so much so, that for the last two years these concerts of Edison area have been completely sold-out, weeks in advance.

Once again, this year, on Sunday, June 7 ‘Ekal’ is hosting an enchanting Musical event, billed as ‘Ek Shaam Ekal Ke Naam’ -an unforgettable journey of Bollywood melodies, that would take us back to our youthful days. This concert is taking place at the majestically elegant state-of-the-art ‘Nicholas Music Center’ of “Rutgers University” (85 George Street), in New Brunswick, N.J. at 3 PM.

The headlining artistes from the land of ‘Bollywood’ are celebrity Melody Makers, ‘Rana Chatterjee & Sangeeta Melekar’ with their talented group of instrumentalists. Their concerts have been sold-out wherever they have performed so far.

June 7 concert contributions are only$30 (Gold Section – almost sold-out) & $25 (Silver-section) per person. “Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation – USA” is a nationwide non-profit, tax-exempt organization devoted to uplifting tribal-rural masses of India, with emphasis on functional education, healthcare training, and social empowerment.

According to Satish Karnik, the President of Central N.J. Chapter, “it takes only $365 to sponsor one Ekal School of 35-40 children, for one complete year. We want people to kindly sponsor as many ‘Ekal schools as they possibly can”. All donations are acknowledged at the concert.
