Indian American seniors, members off Greater New York Seniors, celebrated, August 15, with great enthusiasm the 68th Independence Day of India. The flag hoisting was done by Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. while dhvajavidhi was performed by Gopi Udeshi. Shashikant Patel, as usual, was the chief organizer. On the occasion, patriotic songs were sung by children .
