MINEOLA, NY (TIP): Legislator Carrie Solages to Co-Host Inwood Day in conjunction with a Back to School Community Celebration that will feature a Backpack Giveaway in partnership with the key sponsorships of Green Acres Mall and Applebee’s as well as the thoughtful sponsorship of the rest of our sponsors who include: Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Healthfirst, Affinity Healthcare, Fidelis Care, Apple Bank, New York State Senator Todd Kaminsky, Elmont Ladies Auxiliary and the Five Towns Kiwanis
“It is great to celebrate going back to school with a community party because there is no greater gift we give our children than that of a high quality education,” said Legislator Solages. “I’m glad this great event allows us to provide our local students with many of the tools they need to succeed.”
For children to receive the free supplies they must be a resident of Nassau County and be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can show identification. Please share this important information so the wonderful school supplies can be shared with all of those in need.
