The note says, “Mr. Comrie has an impressive track record of public service and is an experienced political activist who understands deeply the needs of immigrant community.

We have seen on various occasions his stands on various issues where he has given unflinching support to the South Asian Immigrant Community. “Comrie, a former Councilman and a resident of Queens epitomizes determination, fairness and compassion for the immigrant community. “SASA endorses candidates based on their support and willingness to serve the South Asian Immigrant Community. “SASA is proud to support the candidature of Leroy Comrie and urges all its supporters to go out and vote on the 9th September and elect Mr. Comrie.”
